Description
This rugged pink granite coastline, strewn with rocks and reefs, dotted with small fishing villages and beaten by the wind and sea has bewitched many an artist. They were the first to succumb to the wild beauty of Bohuslän, which used to draw its livelihood from fishing. Tourism has since ousted the herring, making this coast one of the most popular holiday regions of Sweden. Don't miss the island of Tjörn or the cave paintings of Tanum.
