Useful information

Description

Built in 1928, the house of banker and patron David Van Buuren has an exterior typical of the Amsterdam School. The interior is an Art Deco masterpiece created by Belgian, French and Dutch designers. Furniture, rugs, stained glass, sculpture and pictures from the 15C to the 20C are displayed in an intimate setting. The museum has the world's largest private collection of paintings by Gustave Van de Woestyne. Its gardens plunge visitors into a sea of greenery.
