The Michelin Guide's review
Formerly spread over the entire headland on which it was built, all that remains of the castle, whose dismantling was ordered by Louis XV, are the César tower and Clock tower. Inside the former 14C keep, only the pointed barrel-vaulted guards' room can be visited. Opposite the keep, the round César tower with irregularly laid bricks dates back to the 12C. The panorama from the top (altitude 322m) is breathtaking.
