Description
From Trier to Koblenz, the Moselle valley winds its way through hilly, vineyard covered slopes. The region is renowned for its dry white wines, most of which are made from the Riesling grape. You can enjoy a tasting at the Bernkastel-Kues wine cellars before going on to visit the Marienburg Convent or Reichburg Castle in Cochem. The itinerary also takes in the ultimate in romantic castles, Burg Eltz, before finishing in Koblenz at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers.
