Useful information

Description

The stone Arslanagića Ćuprija was built by Mehmed Paša Sokolović in the 16C in the village of Arslanagić, 2km from Trebinje. Due to the construction of the Trebišnjica dam, the Ottoman monument was brought closer to the city in the 1960s. It is one of the loveliest bridges in Bosnia, with a design comprising two large arches surrounded by smaller arches, some one on top of the other.
