Description
The Egyptian museum is housed in a 17C palazzo, also the headquarters of the Science Academy. The museum boasts one of the world's finest collections of Egyptian antiquities, including historic collections and finds from excavations carried out between 1900 and 1935 by the Missione Archeologica Italiana. The collections, notably the spectacular Gallery of Kings, are showcased using modern, multimedia methods, making this a truly fascinating visit.
