Useful information

Description

The Suntory Museum of Art was revamped by architect Kuma Kengo in April 2007 in the heart of Midtown Tower. The museum boasts a 3,000-piece collection (lacquerware, Satsuma ceramics, textiles, Noh costumes), elements of which are showcased in the temporary exhibitions it organises in conjunction with the world's leading museums. These high-quality events range from the influence of Japanese art on Gallé to haute couture in the Edo period.
