Description
Aleijadinho's final creation is a masterly work. The Igreja Matriz de Santo Antônio illustrates the Baroque virtuosity of the master (as if we needed reminding!). He designed the façade and the two bell towers which adorn the building. Before going inside, where you will find a profusion of gilt and a remarkable organ (18C), enjoy the commanding view over Tiradentes.
