This magnificently reconstructed fort is located by the Kaministikwia River, on the trade route to the northwest. From the visitor's centre, a path leads through the woods to the stockade, which used to protect this small well-organised town. Some 42 structures, including a farm, apothecary, Indian encampments and a jail, depict the different facets of this early-19C trading society. Costumed guides help recreate fort life.
