Useful information

Description

Located around 50km from Hanoi, the Dau pagoda is said to date back nearly 2 000 years, although the building visible today was erected in the 14C. It is one of the oldest pagodas in the country. In the main worship hall, note the wooden sculptures from the Tran and Le dynasties. The main altar is dedicated to the female Dharma Cloud, preceded by the Dharma Rain and the Dharma Light. These three red-lacquer statues dates from the 18C.
