Description
Tetouan Medina, surrounded by walls with seven gates, is well worth a visit. Take a stroll through its tangled little streets, particularly lively during the paseo, a Spanish tradition that crossed the Atlantic like the architectural influences here; do some bargaining in the diverse - and always interesting - souks, and explore the archaeological and ethnographic museums, both featuring a lovely garden. The white medina is indeed a treasure trove.
