The cliff road that runs through the region of Tazzeka, southwest of Taza, overlooks Ras-el-Oued Falls - the waters are abundant from November to May - and leads to a spring flowing through ash, cherry and olive trees, due to a resurgence of water absorbed by the chalky terrain. The steep climb continues through a rocky landscape dotted with olive and green oak trees offering more fine views of Taza and its surroundings.
