Description
Sunnyside is the former property of the writer Washington Irving (1783-1859), the first American writer to achieve international acclaim. Its fanciful architecture and lovely views over the river embody the essence of the 19C Romantic landscape. Built around an existing farmhouse in 1835, this "snuggery" has English, Dutch, Spanish and Scottish influences.
