Description
During his visit to Tarragona, Charles V lived for a time in this noble abode. It boasts a delightful Gothic patio and, today, houses the History Museum of Tarragona, showcasing a varied collection of period furniture, including the reconstruction of a wealthy home in the Baroque period. Also visible are a number of surprising architectural details and fixtures and fittings, among which marble fixtures in the bathroom. Also see the museum's annex (Casa Canals) Carrer Granada, 11.
