Description
The history of Taormina is represented in the different architectural styles of this building, which includes a Moorish tower, Catalan-Gothic windows and doorway, a Norman parliament room (the Sicilian parliament met here in the 15C), and one wing dating from the 13C and the other from the 15C. Renovated after a long period of neglect, the palazzo now houses the town's tourist office and various interesting temporary exhibitions.
