Description
While Riga is undoubtedly the great Art Nouveau city of the Baltic, Tallinn is justly proud of two remarkable buildings typifying this early 20C architectural movement. The creators responsible for them were Riga-born architect Jacques Rosenbaum and sculptor August Volz, and their work can be admired at nos 18 and 23-25 Pikk; prepare to be surprised.
