The Michelin Guide's review
Climbing the 412 steps to the top is no easy task, but the panoramic view at the end of the path is no small reward either. On the hillside, you will see the remains of a Brahman temple dating from the 11C, built during the reign of Suryavarman I. The path commands an unusual view looking down on the brick shrines. The temple has a few precious lintels that depict the Hindu gods Vishnu, Krishna and Shiva, at different times of their mythical lives.
