The Michelin Guide's review
Three delightful prang still adorned with white stucco rise above the Wat Sri Sawai's double wall built from brick and laterite. Founded under the Khmers in the 12C, this temple dedicated to Shiva undoubtedly remained unfinished following their departure: the prang were only completed in the 15C during the Ayutthaya period. Built on an east-west axis, they have conserved their delicate reliefs which bear witness to the refinement of the Lopburi style. Vishnu and Shiva are recognisable among the characters depicted.
