Useful information

Description

The museum is dedicated to Nobel prizes awarded by Sweden (physics, chemistry, medicine, literature) and pays homage to its prize-winners, whose portraits run along the ceiling. The building is also the meeting-place for members of the Swedish Academy, founded by King Gustav II in 1786, as well as the setting for the announcement to the press of the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature.
