Description
This department of the Universalmuseum Joanneum illustrates, over two floors, the agricultural and artisanal traditions of Styria. It also presents a full array of common ceramic objects and rustic furniture, as well as two original Stuben, the main rooms of traditional homes, which are panelled and date from 1568 and 1596, and a seitenstübel (a little side room) with a painted ceiling (1796).
