Description
This delightful district, with its small village-like ambience, is situated to the east of Saint-Pierre's centre, on the opposite bank of the Abord river. Try to visit in the morning when its fishermen are returning from sea. It's also a pleasant place for a leisurely daytime stroll, taking advantage of the beach and the shade of its banyan trees, while watching the animated card games and barbecues being enjoyed here. Visit the Chinese Taoist temple of Guan Di and, in the evening, sip an aperitif with a view of the sea in one of the many small bars.
