Description
Kélonia is a very active scientific observatory dedicated to the protection and reproduction of the Indian Ocean's turtles, which are an endangered species. It is equipped with a laboratory, a treatment centre and nursery where animals in distress are cared for (you might be lucky enough to see baby turtles) and an interesting museum with numerous interactive activities for kids. You can see the turtles peacefully swimming about in the water from the observation tower.
