Useful information

Description

In the shape of an irregular pentagon, surrounded by trenches once filled with water, the current castle is a by-product of a fortified tower built by Louis VI. Saint-Louis had a chapel added to it and it was then developed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, under the orders of Louis XIV, whilst Le Nôtre designed the park and replanted the forest. You will visit the Henri IV and Sully pavilions and see the large terrace, which is 2 400 m long and a Le Nôtre masterpiece.
