Description
The municipal garden is a very pleasant place to take a stroll or clear your head. Previously devoted to growing melons and cucumbers, it is now shaded by trees of various species, enhanced by the soothing sound of fountains and decorated with contemporary sculptures. There are a few interesting buildings surrounding the garden, such as the Ivan-Vazov National Theatre, the square in front of which has a large and very popular café, with extra - highly prized - tables on the outdoor terrace in fine weather.
