Description
Among the highlights of the makeover of Pudong, the World Financial Center was for many years delayed by the Asian Stock Exchange Crisis of 1997 and then by disagreement about its design. Today the tower is trapeze in shape and is often likened to a giant bottle-opener! Inaugurated in 2008, this skyscraper boasts 101 floors and is 492m high. A hall at the top of the building with a transparent floor (the Sky Walk) offers head-spinning views of Shanghai!
