Description
This refreshing path running alongside the Levada do Risco leads to a magnificent waterfall, which tumbles from a height of 100m into a pool at the bottom of the Ribeira da Janela valley. Two long stairways link it with the Levada das 25 Fontes, which leads to the lake of the same name, lined with red cliffs and fed by the waters of the Paúl da Serra plateau, forming "25 springs". Waymarked paths make it popular with hikers.
