Useful information

Description

The imposing Gothic church of St George was built from the 13C to 15C, undergoing substantial restoration work in the 19C in particular. It comprises an unusual very long narthex, which extends along the entire width of the facade and opens onto Saint-Georges square through an elegant door. Three doors still have their original leaves. The pulpit of sculpted, gilded stone dates from the Renaissance. Beautiful stained glass windows. Those of the chancel and the apse are by Max Ingrand.
