Description
The Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (65 000ha), a Unesco site, gives you acces to the splendour of the flora and fauna of the cerrado of Brazil's centre-west. This protected area is part of an ecosystem the size of Europe, and unique both in terms of its climatic conditions and the variety of plant species to which it is home, but threatened by intensive agriculture. To be explored only with a guide, via two footpaths, each of which offers the opportunity to bathe in the waterfalls.
