The Michelin Guide's review
As surprising as it may be, Patagonia produces wine! Set off northwest from Neuquén on a wine route, where the vineyards are protected from strong winds by high rows of poplars and the vines are irrigated to compensate for the low rainfall. In the many bodegas along the route, you can look forward to sampling an impressive selection of interesting wines, including Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.
