Description
On the southern shore of Lago Lácar, Playa Catrite is the most easily accessible "beach" from San Martín, but the pretty white sandy beach of Villa Quila Quina has better amenities (toilets, campsites and sporting activities. This is the starting point of a small nature trail through a cypress forest and a pretty walk towards Lago Escondido and Pucará. Not so easy to get to, Hua Hum lies at the western end of Lago Nonthué, which is an extension of Lago Lácar.
