Useful information

Description

The Museo de Ciencias Naturales de San Juan is famed for its collection of fossils from the Triassic period (between -250 and -200 million years) and minerals discovered in the Ischigualasto Park. There are skeletons of extremely rare species, such as the Eoraptor lunensis, a small dinosaur about 1m long and 45cm tall, or the Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis, which looks the same but is much larger and was one of the most fearsome predators of the time... Children will love it here!
