Description
Framed by high peaks and lined by the crystalline waters of the Río Quindío, this verdant valley stretches from the east of Salento, on the southwestern edge of the Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados. Often shrouded in mist, the splendid pine and eucalyptus landscapes are dominated by the svelte silhouette of the wax palms, Colombia's national tree.
