Description
The former Jesuits' college has fine rooms decorated with Baroque frescoes, and houses the Museo Civico, which is comprised of four museums: Museo di Arte Sacra with works of art from the Chiesa Madre; the Museo Archeologico, which exhibits finds from the sites of Mokarta and Monte Polizo; the Museo del Risorgimento, which charts the epic of Garibaldi and, finally, the Museo della Mafia Leonardo Sciascia on the reality of the Mafia in Sicily and in Italy.
