Description
The banana museum, at the heart of the Habitation Limbé, a 54-ha estate, has laid out a signposted trail over 4ha that acquaints visitors with some of the 60 varieties out of the 300 known varieties of banana! This interesting tour provides all sorts of information about the banana, including its origins, farming techniques and uses. Did you know, for example, that bananas are even used in ketchup?
