Description
At the junction between the Drôme plains and the Dauphinois Prealps, the fortified village of St-Nazaire-en-Royans is laid out according to an amphitheatre extending from Bourne bridge to the ruins of Delphinale tower. A slender aqueduct (1876), sporting elegant arches, spans the turbulent River Isère below and the houses further down.
