Rottnest Island is a little green corner of paradise, crowned by rocky headlands and white sand beaches. Situated 45min away from Fremantle by ferry, the island mixes relaxation and exercice. You get around the island by bicycle, pedalling with the wind in your hair to get to one of the many creeks. Rottnest Island has a great ambassador: the quokka, a small marsupial that features in selfies with many a tourist; its mischievous face is to be seen in every other bush.
