Description
These ruins 20km north of Ronda are known locally as Ronda la Vieja (Old Ronda). This is the old settlement of Acinipo, described by Pliny the Elder (AD 23-79), the Roman writer on natural history. The most impressive remains include the large theatre (1C BC), which has retained parts of its stage and seating.
