Description
The huge Piazza del Popolo (laid out in the 18C) has "twin" churches, Santa Maria di Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli. In reality the two churches are not exactly a matching pair; on closer inspection, it is apparent that only the drums supporting the domes are of the same dimensions.
