Useful information

Description

If it's open, make sure you visit this superb octagonal room, the cupola of which is a reminder that the building was used as a planetarium in the 1920s. The room is thought to have been a small frigidarium (cold chamber in the baths) in the Baths of Diocletian. The statues in the room come from Roman baths from Rome and faraway Cyrene.
