Description
The Temple of Antoninus and Faustina was dedicated to Antoninus Pius and his wife. On a high podium, the beautiful monolithic columns of the pronaos can still be seen, while the frieze of griffons and candelabra on the entablature is a masterpiece of fine craftsmanship.
