Description
Like a ship ready to take on the waves, this architectural creation inaugurated in 2015 is a brilliant work by Spaniard Santiago Calatrava. It looks as if it were floating above the giant mirror of water that lies on the old pier. The building, covered with elegant solar panels, echoes the Museu do Amanhã housed within its walls, which is focused on issues of climate change, world population growth and the preservation of biodiversity.
