Description
A key venue of carioca culture, the CCBB is housed in a former financial headquarters. The building is characteristic of the architecture of banks the world over, with a marble hall, rotunda with columns and a glass roof. A small banking museum now occupies the hushed luxurious former management offices (guided tour in English, by appointment). Check the programme for exhibitions, shows, theatre and film festivals. Bookshop, cafeteria and ATM on site.
