Description
A remnant of the surrounding 15C wall, the Mordelaises gates were the main entry into the town, through which passed the Dukes of Brittany on the way to their coronation in the cathedral. In July 1997, a drawbridge on the model of that at Montmuran was returned to its place. An extensive redevelopment programme on the site should be finished by late 2021.
