Description
This was the residence of the most powerful family in Ravello. It is at once grandiose with its 11C tower, yet delicate with its "Moorish courtyard" featuring intertwined arcatures and interlacing. It gives onto superb gardens laid out in terraces above the sea. The panoramic view is marvellous, and one can understand how Wagner, who wrote Parsifal here, was so inspired! This stage set up overlooking the sea hosts outdoor concerts in summer. A magical setting!
