Description

The much-visited Ranomafana has an area of 41 000ha and consists largely of tropical rainforest. The park is home to the source of the Namorona River and boasts a remarkable yet endangered biodiversity. This is the habitat of the red-bellied and red lemur and the Malgasy civet. Spa-lovers will appreciate the hundred-year-old thermal spa in the village centre.
