Description
For a fantastic view of Puerto Plata and the surrounding countryside, take the often-packed cable car up to the peak of Isabel de Torres. The vista is best in the morning, because from midday, clouds tend to form over the peaks. Beneath the outstretched arms of the Christ Redeemer, strangely reminiscent of that of Rio de Janeiro, embark on a botanical path, planted with numerous species of trees.
