Description
The irregular cobblestones of St George's Square contrast with the sophisticated paving laid by Plečnik in the other courtyards of the castle. The square offers an extraordinary view of the cathedral's chevet, with its chapels radiating off it in a semi-circle, and the complex system of buttresses supporting the roof of the chancel built by Parler.
