Useful information

Description

Climbing Le Pouce is not particularly difficult, preferably to be tackled in the morning. You take a dirt track through sugarcane fields for almost 1km, then a path leads you to the first plateau in 30min. There, you take the right-hand path to reach the mountaintop (812m), from where there is a superb view over Port Louis, the towns of the centre and, to the east, as far as Flacq and the sea.
