Dedicated to the conflict that led to the birth of the United States of America, this superb museum offers an excellent introduction to this chapter of the nation's history and to the sites linked to it. It houses a rare collection of weapons, papers, costumes and uniforms, paintings, as well as the most precious relic of the period: George Washington's campaign tent. The fascinating chronological tour, which includes films shown along the way, is designed to immerse the visitor in the action.
