Description
Gentle slopes covered in meadows, huge expanses of woodland, rivers, torrents and steep summits... This fertile, pleasant landscape stands on the doorstep of the Cefalù, the mountain range of Madonie. This nature reserve, although largely shaped by the hand of man, features a dry southern slope and a wet northern slope. The park's upper regions are home to thriving medieval market towns that seem to date from another era. Visitor's centre at Petralia Sottana.
